Teacher: Caryn Zeh, Certified General RE Appraiser

An appraisal is an “opinion of value”. Real estate appraisal is a step by step process that results in a supportable opinion of value. Is it reasonable and defensible? As most real estate sales transactions require an appraisal, understanding the appraisal process is crucial for sales agents in order to better educate and represent their clients, both buyers and sellers. This course details the recognized appraisal process that one should follow when performing a real estate appraisal assignment, as well as what an appraisal report is required to contain for the report’s reader to understand the appraiser’s conclusions.
