Meets DOS requirement for Fair Housing

As a result of this course, attendees will be able to identify protected classes. Participants will understand the history of fair housing and how it has shaped our housing market today. Attendees will also learn how everyday business practices can be discriminatory and how to practice real estate without discrimination. Students will also understand how advertising can be discriminatory and how to eliminate discrimination in marketing. Attendees will also be able to identify articles of the code of ethics. Class participants will be able to compare ethical business practices in advertising, marketing, and contract negotiation.
