CE Credit: 22.5 credits including 1 hour of Agency, 2.5 hours of Code of Ethics & 3 hours of Fair Housing (ONLY if you renew your salesperson license and DO NOT get your broker’s license). One hour of Legal Matters will be included on a separate occasion.

Jump to the next level of your Real Estate career- take the 45 hour Broker licensing course now! You’ll learn the details necessary to become an Associate Broker or, launch your own firm. There is continued discussion of expanding this course to 75 hours so, if you’ve been considering advancing your career, think no more and sign up!

To become a broker in New York, you must:

  • Be at least 20 years of age
  • Have either a minimum of two years experience as a licensed salesperson or three years experience in a related field. (Please check with the NYS Dept. of State as to what constitutes experience and/or a related field at 518-474-4429)
  • Complete the Broker’s Qualifying course and pass the course exam
  • If you took the 45-hour Salesperson Course, you are required to complete the 30-hour Remedial Course, in addition to the Broker Course, to meet the 120-hour education requirement for the broker license, you can take the Remedial Course before or after the Broker Course.
  • Pass the NYS broker exam
