2022 Election
In accordance with Article XI., Section 4. of the Bylaws of the Greater Capital Association of REALTORS®, the Nominating Committee was appointed by President Decatur and approved by the board of directors. The Committee was charged with the preparation of a slate of officers and directors for 2022. The Committee hereby submits the following slate of persons for the positions indicated. This slate will be presented for your consideration at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Membership on November 18, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.

Elections shall take place at the Annual Membership Meeting on November 18, 2021, at 10:00 am on Zoom.
Additional candidates for offices to be filled may be placed in nomination by a petition signed by not less than 378 REALTOR® members eligible to vote and filed with the Chief Executive Officer at least two (2) weeks before the elections. The Chief Executive Officer shall post the additional nominations to all members eligible to vote before the election.
Bylaw Amendment Notice
Each year the National Association of REALTORS® requires local associations to review their bylaws for accuracy and currency and to make any amendments mandated by NAR and necessary as a result of changes in practices at the state or local level.
The Strategic Planning Workgroup and the GCAR directors amended some items and sections to update and more closely identify with the strategic plan and the operations of GCAR (appear in red).
