Centennial +2 Celebration

Two years in the making…GCAR finally celebrated its one-hundredth birthday.

In 2020, GCAR turned 100 but had to cancel the celebration so this year we celebrated 102 years. This event looked back upon the considerable span of the Association’s one hundred years to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of its leadership.

Special guests included James Ader, GCAR CEO 1993 – 2013; Jennifer Vucetic, 2022 NYSAR President; Robert E. Blackman, Inaugural GCAR President; NYS Senator Daphne Jordan; NYS Senator James Tedisco; and NYS Assembly Member Mary Beth Walsh. Senator Jordan was kind enough to present the Association with a NYS Senate Proclamation in recognition of the centennial.
