In the past ten years, NAR and New York State have created a thorough list of laws, regulations, and specialized information that licensed real estate professionals are expected to know like the back of their hands. This is an age of technology, social media, regulations, and new terms- some are thriving within this new age, and some are finding it more difficult to navigate. This course is meant to help REALTORS understand why Law of Agency and Legal Matters are highlighted as being imperative for knowledge, why the Code of Ethics has been implemented; what the minutia of the categories mean for your business and personal life; how best to understand and how to appreciate these regulations despite their complex wording; and what to do when confronting one’s own or someone else’s non-understanding. Case studies will be given, and scenarios will be discussed to encourage participation and growth. These courses are required for all members- so why not learn to appreciate them?
