President’s Message: Committed to Advocating for REALTORS®
As the president of GCAR, I am proud to share our commitment to advocating for the rights of REALTORS® and advancing homeownership in our communities. Every individual should be able to own a home and build wealth for themselves and their families.
To achieve this goal, we are actively engaging with lawmakers and policymakers to ensure that they understand the importance of a healthy real estate market and the role that REALTORS® play in it. We are advocating for policies that make it easier for individuals to become homeowners and for real estate professionals to do their jobs effectively. This month, we met our local lawmakers during Lobby Day to discuss good cause eviction, the housing supply and affordability, and the telemarketing ban.
At the same time, we recognize that our role extends beyond the transactional aspects of real estate. We are committed to engaging with our communities and being active participants in making them better places to live. Whether supporting local charities or volunteering our time and resources, we believe that realtors can make a difference in the lives of those around us. The GCAR community relations committee has been volunteering at Jack’s Place and the Double H Ranch this spring.
We encourage all realtors® to participate in their communities and advocate for homeownership. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of countless individuals and families.
