Prepare to be challenged! With discussions aplenty, this course is meant to make you feel uncomfortable as it challenges you to engage in discourse with fellow REALTORS on touchy subjects and asks you to take a new perspective on Implicit Bias.
This course encourages real estate members to think about their behaviors and how they affect their business, the people around them, the consumer, and their colleagues. Unfettered bias impacts real estate transactions at all levels, whether in sales, leasing, renters, buyers, landlords, or sellers. Bias is an unwelcome aspect of our real estate business. Through this course, students will learn that implicit and explicit biases are unwelcome in our real estate industry and how we should, as real estate agents, work at understanding and trying to work hard at eliminating bias from our real estate business.
