Meets DOS requirement for Fair Housing
Housing is a basic human need, and you are responsible for helping clients buy or sell real estate to protect that basic need. Discrimination in housing is unacceptable. Sometimes, it’s overt and sometimes covert. You have obligations under federal, state, and local laws, as well as Article 10 of the Code of Ethics. This class will discuss real-life situations and give you the tools to handle the public who say things like, “Would you buy in this neighborhood if it were you?” “What kind of people live here?”
PLEASE NOTE:
- Do not drive during the course, as this presents an obvious safety issue.
- Do not conduct any alternate business. Please pay attention to the duration of the course.
- You must always have your video and audio enabled during the course.
- Virtual backgrounds are no longer allowed.
- You must be centered in the camera’s view and visible during the course.
- Please answer the moderators when spoken to.
- If you do not follow the rules, you forfeit all CE credit.
- If you “no show” or cancel less than 24 hours prior, there is a $25.00 fee.
- Certificates will not be emailed unless all students answer the poll question or submit a completed attestation form.
