Meets DOS requirements for Cultural Competency

Cultural Competency for Real Estate Professionals invites participants to understand themselves and their culture in a deeply personal two-hour, two-credit course fulfilling NYS requirements for cultural competency training. This course delves into the meaning of cultural competency for communities and real estate professionals. It invites participants to evaluate their cultural competency and explores how to be competent in engaging people who do not look, speak, or act like them.  Students will discover the impact of cultural competency on themselves personally and professionally and will be invited to construct a vision of the promise of multicultural engagement in their lives.
