GCAR Community Relations Committee assists the Veteran’s Miracle Center in Albany

Many thanks to GCAR members who donated their time to help the Veteran’s Miracle Center in Albany on March 16.  Members sorted items that will help the veterans as well as other organizations throughout the world.  Hats off to Ginny O’Brien, Karen Cahill, (Chair, Community Relations Committee), Judy Kaiser, Joe Krongold, Wayne Glogowski, Chris Glogowski, Jonie Civlll, Diane Sluus, and Brenda Larkin for taking the time to help our veterans!

The Mission and Goal of the VMC

The Veterans Miracle Center’s heartfelt mission is to offer Veterans and Active-Duty Military Personnel real solutions that will enhance their lives. They seek to provide clothing, personal care and hygiene products, houseware items, ambulatory equipment, toys for their children, and much more — and all goods and services are available free of charge to Veterans and their immediate household.

The VMC is open by appointment only to Veterans by presenting their DD214 or current military ID.
