Prepare to be challenged! Discussions aplenty, this course is meant to make you feel uncomfortable as it challenges you to engage in discourse with fellow REALTORS on touchy subjects and asks you to take a new perspective of Cultural Competency.

The entire class will be a discussion of how to identify and implement what we learn about ourselves in the course to better improve our interaction with the consumer and create a better experience for buyer, seller, landlord, tenant, etc., and finally, the history and legacy of segregation and its impact in the housing sector. We will be providing the Agency Disclosure Form, Property Conditions Disclosure Form, Housing Anti- Discrimination form, etc. in many different available languages for them to have a better understanding of how we will be working with or representing them. The fair housing laws’ impact on local and state-wide real estate transactions and how they’ve impacted our business will be the main topic, and how to be better agents with a clear understanding of these fair housing laws.
