Human Rights and Fair Housing

CE Credit: 3

Instructor: Dorothy Botsoe

Meets DOS requirement for Fair Housing

Prepare to be challenged! This course is not for those looking to gain passive education- participation is required! Written and taught by impassioned veteran Real Estate Professional Dorothy Botsoe, it will look at the history of the fair housing laws and their enactment, the BIG picture of the various rules, regulations, and requirements of our profession, and how they must be followed when dealing with real estate professionals. By addressing the legacy of segregation, the creation of fair housing laws, and the lack of access to opportunities for the protected classes throughout American history, we can teach fellow REALTORS® how best to understand the regulations for the betterment of self and client.
