Navigating the New Statewide Forms

As a result of the NAR litigation settlement, adjustments to the way you conduct your real estate transactions will take effect on August 17, 2024. To ensure compliance with the settlement provisions, the Global MLS Rules and Regulations, forms, and fields within the MLS are also being updated.

The Global MLS staff have been diligently working to meet all MLS change requirements, ensuring that members continue to have the necessary information and tools to operate in an informed and compliant manner.

NYSAR has established a Forms Committee to update existing forms and, in some cases, create new ones to accommodate the new business practices for managing transactions. While the use of these forms, as well as those issued by GMLS, is not mandatory, they are offered as a member benefit and may be helpful.
