Real Estate Salesperson with Realty One Group Key

Why do you love working in real estate?
I love working in real estate because my number one priority is helping others. I enjoy meeting new people and assisting them with any questions or concerns they may have. Building a bond for lasting relationships with other agents, lenders, inspectors, and so on is key in this business.

Favorite Work Story
My favorite work story has to be my first real estate transaction. First-time homebuyers looking for their home although many obstacles kept coming up. They were frustrated many times but in the end, moved into their new home and made it their own. It’s my favorite work story because being my first transaction I was faced with many obstacles myself. My buyers were pre-qualified by an out-of-state lender, although I tried several times to have them try someone local. The father of the one buyer had to come to every home showing we had gone to (we went to many!) and the inspection brought about many issues the sellers did not want to deal with.

In the end, we closed in favor of my buyers and now they are happily sending me pictures of all the changes they have made in their new home.

What are you most proud of in your career?
I am most proud of sticking it out even through hard times. I switched brokerages in the middle of my first transactions and it was the best decision I could have made for my career. I also managed to complete 4 transactions in six months as a newly licensed salesperson with my new brokerage.

Do you have a special cause or volunteer your time?
I currently work full-time as an emergency services case worker at our local Salvation Army. Every day I am faced with many obstacles that I need to figure out. My job assists me in making decisions in my real estate business for others. I love what I do but am transitioning to more of a full-time role in my business to serve others in buying and selling their homes.
