Why do you love working in real estate?
I was first licensed in 1978 with Frank Piltman Realty. I then worked for Harry Sansone of Tri-City Realty for a while.
In 1979 I obtained my broker license and operated Barber Real Estate in Schenectady, NY. I subsequently became the County Director of Real Property Tax Services for Schenectady County. After retiring in 2010 I became the Acting Assessor for the City of Schenectady, NY. I have since served as a Judicial Hearing officer for the NYS Office of Court Administration.
Having worked in Real Estate for most of my adult life, I’ve enjoyed helping people achieve their goals and dreams. I love people and I love a challenge, solving problems for the public.

Meeting professionals and clients that I worked with in the business 30-40 years ago.
What are you most proud of in your career?
Developing a level of trust with the public and the experience that I have gained throughout the years.
Do you have a special cause or volunteer your time?
Past President of the Schenectady Kiwanis Club.
Volunteer for Veterans’ causes ( Member: American Legion, VFW, and Vets Club).
