President’s Message – Jan/Feb

Thank you for trusting me to serve as your 2023 GCAR President. This will be a productive year for our association and its 3,800 members.

Being a member of GCAR carries with it many benefits. Your membership connects you with exclusive products, programs, and services. Your association membership entitles you to professional standards and mediation, free CE courses, networking events, and more.

As strong advocates for you, on the local, state, and national levels, our goal is to always give you and your clients a strong voice on issues affecting homeownership.

GCAR’s mission is to provide members with programs and services which enhance members’ ability to successfully conduct their business in a competent and ethical manner, promote cooperation among members, and promote the public’s right to own, use, and transfer real property.

We encourage you to get involved this year. Join a GCAR committee, come to the Crowne Plaza in February for the NYSAR mid-winter meetings, or to the State Capitol in May to lobby for our industry and consumer causes. Finally, be sure to contribute to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) generously! These are the dollars that will help protect homeowners and our industry’s interests.
