Code of Ethics Deadline is December 31, 2021

As required for REALTOR® membership, all REALTORS® must complete at least 2.5 hours of ethics training that meets specific learning objectives and criteria. The current cycle deadline is Dec. 31, 2021. If you do not complete the Ethics Requirement for NAR Cycle 6, you will be suspended from GCAR and Global MLS services in January 2022.

Not sure if you completed a code of ethics course?

  1. Log in to GCAR Member Services
  2. Click on Education History
  3. Click on Personal Education Tracking
  4. If your status is complete, then you are all set; if your status is pending, then GCAR does not have a copy of your ethics certificate.

Still need to take an ethics course?
GCAR is offering several more opportunities to take a code of ethics class before the NAR deadline, check out the schedule below. If you take an ethics course with GCAR, we automatically report your compliance to NAR.

Attendees will walk away from this class with a better understanding of how they can put the Code of Ethics to work in their day-to-day business to help their community understand the value of a professional REALTOR® and how they are different than their competitors. Leigh will provide tools to use in listing presentations and the strength to go forward in the community providing a different level of real estate service.
